Kefir has a reputation as an acquired taste - thin, sharp and not for everyone. When we started developing ours, we knew we wanted something different. We decided to combine the thick creamy feel of our yoghurt with the complex fermented tang of a true kefir. The result was a silky-smooth drink, lightly tangy with a natural fizz. Easy to drink, easy to love.
We gently batch pasteurise the raw milk and ferment it overnight with our kefir and live yoghurt cultures. This turns the already nutrient rich milk into a thicker, tangier drink. For those who like a little extra sweetness, we add berry compote. For those looking for more complexity, we add ginger or mango and passion fruit, rounded off by local honey from Field Honey Farm.
